400 years later, set in the year 2415, Eon Flux is a baffling professional killer. Four centuries after an infection almost demolished mankind, leaving just 5,000,000 survivors in an idealistic city called Bregna. Age is attempting to obliterate the Goodchild system driven by its namesake, Trevor Goodchild, the leader of Bregna and a relative of the one who tracked down a remedy for the destructive infection. As trained by the Handler, Eon is allowed to kill Goodchild, yet there are more profound privileged insights to be found, and connivances to be thwarted.
