Curse of the Sands 17 August 2021: Curse of the Sands update Tuesday 17th August 2021 Kali/Siya challenges that she will apply Ram’s named sindhoor breaking Vanraj’s promise. Vanraj asks if she cannot, then will she express her love for him, if she will accept his challenge or is afraid to accept it. Kali says love always wins between love and hatred, she will not apply Vanraj’s named Mehandi tomorrow. Vanraj thinks their relationship will start with Rana’s blood.
During Mehandi ceremony, Mohini dances on an energetic Punjabi song Lakh mera hit baliye.. Kali looks at Rana while getting Mehandi applied on her hands. Vanraj joins Mohini and dances with her. Kali imagines Vanraj forcing her to dance, then realizes it is imagination. Mohini stops dancing and seeing Rana staring at Kali asks what is he looking at. Rana asks why would he look at ugly Kali. Mohini thinks something is cooking in his mind. She asks him to dance with her. They both dance. Vanraj tells Kali that Rana and Mohini and challenges he will make sure his name is written on her hands. She says let us see.
Vanraj asks mehandiwali to write his name on Kali’s hands. Mehandiwali says she is illiterate. He shouts and requests Rana to write his name on Kali’s hands. Rana agrees. Kali entangles his mind with her talks, Rana writes her name, and leaves. Vanraj excitedly asks Kali if she is ready to express her love for him. Kali asks to see what Rana has written and shows Ram on her hand. Vanraj sits fuming. Mohini notices it and thinks what Rana wrote that Vanraj is so angry.
Kali returns to her room and looks at her hand emotionally. Mohini walks in and says she wants to check her Mehandi. Kali gets nervous. Vanraj enters and says his name looks really nice on Kali’s hands. Mohini thinks then why was he angry and walks out of the room. In Rana’s room, he vents out his anger on punching bag reminiscing about writing Ram on Kali’s hand. Kali enters and asks why did he write Ram on her hand. Rana shouts to go away. Mohini enters and asks who is pestering her. Kali hides. Rana says none of her business. Someone calls Kali. Mohini thinks why Kali was pestering Rana, she needs to find out.
Mohini feels severe pain touching Kali’s hand and disappears from there. Her hand starts disintegrating and she thinks what was written on Kali’s hand that she start disintegrating. Kali tells her team that Mohini felt severe pain touching her hand, she needs to find out. Mohini passes by Kali’s room and sees Kali kicking out Vanraj and warning to dare not to enter her room again. Vanraj nervously smiles. Mohini gives dirty clothes to Maya and asks her to wash them soon. Maya walks towards the washing machine when Vanraj stops her and sends her away.
Kali dances at her sangeet ceremony on Ghar mohe pardesiya..song… Maya realizes where Jhumri is kept and frees her from the washing machine. Kali murmurs in Rana’s ears to remember what he promised Siya. Rana reminisces the incidents and shouts Siya. Mohini tries to slap Kali for reminding Rana about Siya. Rana stops her and asks why did she lie that she does not know Siya, he wants to know who is Ram and Siya. Mohini says she does not know. Mohini shouts she does not know. Kali thinks she and Rana are Ram and Siya.
Vanraj drags Kali to a room and warns her to accept him as her would-be husband. Kali says he will never be her husband. Vanraj says he will become her husband even if he has to kill Jhumri and Maya. He reminisces about kidnapping Jhumri and Maya both. Kali denies. Mohini walks in, and Vanraj leaves. Mohini hugs Kali and says she always considered her as sister and will get her ready. She applies a face pack on Kali and realizes she is sautan Siya. She is about to engrave her chudail fingers into Kali and kill her when Rana enters and asks what is she doing here. Mohini gets alert and takes Rana away. Kali realizes that Mohini identified her as Siya.
