She tells Amma ji about how her village teacher used to beat her with stick. Amma ji says so you are afraid of stick, right? She promise to speak to Master ji about it, so he doesn’t beat her. Gangaa smiles.

Master ji comes and Gangaa runs to Amma ji to let her know of her promise to her. Amma ji says Yes, hesitantly. She (Amma ji) asks him to follow her to her room. She tells him to beat Gangaa a lot and be mean to her since she’s undisciplined, but the teacher disagrees as he has promised Niranjan not to beat her.

Amma ji sends him off to go and teach her then and not waste her time here. Master ji comes to Gangaa and tells her to bring her books and pen. She runs off to Amma ji to confirm if she has spoken to him on her behalf, but Amma ji says the teacher is so adamant and refuses to teach without beating his students. Amma ji tells her to defend herself instead. Gangaa gets worried.
Amma ji calls Maharaj ji to go give the sugar canes to the teacher. He asks why? Amma ji told him to go give it to him. Maharaj ji gives the teacher the Sugar cane and leaves. Gangaa comes in and sees him with the long sugar cane and gets scared. He asked her to read the poem. She does but he asks if that’s the only line (Mary had a little Lamp) she knows how to read? He asks her to read the other lines, but she couldn’t read it well as pronounced by him. Master ji holds the Sugar cane to explain better to her. Gangaa gets scared and recalls what Amma ji and Sagar had told her to do about defending herself. She holds the Sugar cane and warns him off. Madhvi, Amma ji, Sagar, Niranjan comes upstairs at the sound of Gangaa. Niranjan asks what happened?
She says He is a Scoundrel and I don’t want a teacher like him. She calls him all sort of mean names.

Niranjan raised his hand to slap her and stops as he wasn’t the one who gave birth to her and warns her not to ever insult her elders and who taught her all those insulting words? He said he thought she was a disciplined child, but he is disappointed in her. Gangaa tells him the teacher was going to beat her. Sagar also tells Niranjan that Gangaa must have been scared thinking the Sugar cane is a stick. Amma ji smirks and tells Niranjan that Gangaa is a local girl and must have been mistaken. The teacher (in tears) says Gangaa is lying that it is a sugar cane and Amma ji sent it to him and she must have been scared since she didn’t do her homework, besides, he has promised him that he won’t for any reason beat the girl. Niranjan gets mad at Gangaa for lying and trying to beat her teacher. He brings the teacher downstairs and tells Maharaj ji to bring tea for the teacher. He apologizes to the teacher and promises him that Gangaa will behave well now, but the teacher (in tears) says he has never been this insulted before and not from a little girl for that matter. He says it isn’t Gangaa’s fault but his fault by becoming a teacher who people don’t even respect. He tells Niranjan he’s sorry that he can’t lose his last respects and says he won’t be able to teach Gangaa again. He leaves (in tears).

Maharaj ji brings tea for the teacher just then and he’s surprised not to find him there. Niranjan told him to take the tea back. Gangaa comes to the room and explains to Amma ji that she wasn’t lying. Amma ji says she believes her and would talk to Niranjan on her behalf, but Niranjan won’t be happy as she has insulted the teacher so much. Amma ji thinks of an idea by fooling Gangaa into taking a vow of silence as a sign of repentance.
Amma ji tells her to be quiet for the whole day before she can be able to calm Niranjan down. Gangaa agrees to do it.

Sagar is studying in his room when he thinks of Gangaa. She had told Niranjan to fire Tiwari ji and he had raised his hand midair to slap her, but had stopped. I wouldn’t have stopped myself if it was Sagar or Pulkit in your place, then I would have punished them in such a way they would never have forgotten this in their life time. Sagar is disturbed. Amma ji had taken Gangaa’s side. He hears some noise and peeks outside his window to check. A few guys are on the bike. They throw a note covered around a stone in his room and drive away. Pulkit takes the note before Sagar can even open it. Sagar is curious about the content in the paper. Do you know those bikers? Are they your friends? I have never seen them with you. Pulkit doesn’t tell him anything. This message is only for me. Sagar is sure there is something fishy.
Pulkit refuses to share it with him. Sagar is irked. No one tells me anything; neither Gangaa nor you! He tries to go, but Pulkit stops him. What happened? Sagar says everything has changed. I cannot understand anything. Dadi is always angry with Gangaa, but these days she is supporting Gangaa. Plus Papa is scolding Gangaa these days. He is upset with her. Pulkit too is confused. Sagar feels there is some secret between Gangaa and Dadi. Pulkit suggests to him to find out if truly, he’s so confused about the entire thing? And don’t even try to read my messages as from next time onwards. He leaves. Sagar decides to find out the reason behind Gangaa and Dadi’s strong friendship.

Amma ji is doing puja (Prayer). Gangaa too sits down for the Prayer upon her askance. She makes Gangaa recite after her and makes her swear in her Bappa’s name. Gangaa’s Vow of silence (where she’s not supposed to talk to anyone or utter anything) starts. You cannot break your fast till the time I tell you to. Gangaa nods. She sits down to concentrate, while Amma ji heads to the kitchen to bring some raw milk. Sagar comes there and asks her all the questions that have been troubling him. I am sure there is some secret between you and Dadi. Amma ji interrupts him. It is time for you to study. He leaves sadly. Amma ji tells Gangaa to nod her head in affirmative or negative in reply to her questions. She is relieved to find out that Gangaa kept quiet and didn’t share anything with Sagar. She sends Gangaa to bring something from the kitchen.

Amma ji apologises to her Lord Shaligram. I am troubling such a young girl, but I cannot let the world point fingers at me (regarding her status in the family; how Gangaa has become more important for Niranjan than his own mother; doesn’t so much as pay heed to her, etc). She thinks of Sudha’s and Prabha’s taunts. The storm inside my soul can only be quiet this way, Lord. You can call it a sin or a good deed, but Gangaa’s Vow of Silence can only quieten it. That is the only thing that can bring peace to my heart. Forgive me, I have no other option! Tears stream down her eyes and she too sits down to meditate.

Sagar notices Gangaa’s notebooks. He thinks of his father’s disappointment with Gangaa. Madhvi comes there and picks up Gangaa’s books. Sagar watches it, while he hides behind a pillar. Niranjan too comes there. He thinks of his own reaction as he looks at the sugarcane stick. Madhvi justifies his reaction. You would have been angrier at Sagar or Pulkit if they were in Gangaa’s place. He nods. But I wonder how to explain to Gangaa. She is not our daughter, but we only have to think about her welfare. When and how lovingly should I talk to her? When to be strict with her and till what extent? I cannot understand this. I am scared. She says it is very tough to raises someone else’s child. You know this since the time you had brought her here. Plus I have never seen my husband shying away from his responsibilities or any challenges that life threw in his way and neither do I want to! This is not something wrong. Gangaa made a mistake and you scolded her for it. The story ends there. A new day will bring a new hope. Forget what happened and then talk to Gangaa. She might have understood her mistake too. He is amazed at her simple explanation. Madhvi jokes that Amma ji will scold me if she hears you praising me so much.

Gangaa Update Friday 29th November 2019 on Zee World

Sagar is happy that his father finally smiled once mom explained it to him. Now he can forgive Gangaa. Everything will be fine again.
Gangaa is watering the plants. Sagar comes to tell her to talk to papa. He is in a good mood now. Madhvi brings milk for Sagar. They all go quiet when they notice NIranjan. Madhvi signals to him not to be angry with Gangaa anymore. He calls Gangaa to come near him. Amma ji too comes out to watch it. Niranjan wants Gangaa to tell him the reason behind her action yesterday. I won’t say anything if you tell me the truth. She keeps quiet which irks him. Gangaa looks at Amma ji who signals to her to remain quiet.

Gangaa shakes her head at Niranjan. He asks her if she doesn’t regret what she did yesterday. Don’t you feel bad about what you did with Master ji? Why are you quiet? You talk nonstop every day, but now you are all quiet! Tell me what happened. Don’t talk to me if you don’t want to! Niranjan tells Madhvi that Tiwari ji was very sad and upset yesterday. He told me not to call him here to teach Gangaa, but Raghav ji has asked for one last chance. Now you ask Gangaa if she wants to study or not! Maybe she will speak to you. Now we will call Master ji only when Gangaa is ready to study. It should be her wish, no pressure of any kind from anyone. Madhvi says Gangaa will surely study. Niranjan gets angry by her silence. I don’t want to hear or say anything now. He storms out of the house with Madhvi following him, trying to explain things to him, but in vain. Amma ji too goes inside, pleased with her plan. Sagar takes Gangaa upstairs with him.

Madhvi tries to take Gangaa’s side, but Amma ji talks against Gangaa. She is so stubborn in such a young age. We scold Pulkit and Sagar too, but they don’t react like Gangaa. Niranjan was feeling bad yesterday. I had thought to talk to her sweetly, but it’s of no use. She is actually becoming more stubborn day by day. Why should we push her then? She will tell you (Madhvi) if she wants to study or let her be. I have lots of work to do.
