In 1949, when hoodlum Mickey Cohen appears to have an iron grasp on Los Angeles. What’s more, nobody is willing or alive to affirm against him. So Police Chief Parker chooses to shape a unique unit whose mission is to bring down Cohen. He picks Sgt. O’Mara, a World War 2, vet led the unit. O’Mara picks 4 police and asks one more cop and WW2 vet, Jerry Wooters to go along with him however Wooters isn’t intrigued. In any case, when he observes the homicide of a young man by Cohen’s kin, he goes along with them, and they choose to dismantle Cohen’s association. Cohen ponders an opponent is pursuing him, yet at last, he understands it’s the police.
