Geet 27 July 2020: Geet update Monday 27 July 2020, The episode starts with Geet and Adi standing in the “office” with a bunch of girls. Turns out, they all want to marry Maan. Geet starts “praising” him to the girls, and Adi supports her (a little transcript of what Geet says):
“Maan is a hundred thousand… no ten million in one! He’s so handsome, rich… (under her breath) strict. If you go to Delhi with a chirag, you won’t find a groom like Maan… Our Maan sir is a great person; just don’t talk to him… straight talk he doesn’t understand, and twisted talk he starts getting angry, and when he gets really angry, he explodes! Maan doesn’t laugh… it’s about a million miles away from him. There’s one more problem about Maan, a very little problem… his attitude. Along with being egotistic, he’s also got a lot of pride, and does nothing but order people around! I could give you a list! Out of all the film villains, he is the Raavan! Ask why?”
& here is when Maan opens his mouth and says if Geet could be quiet then he could talk. (BTW, he makes his entry as Geet starts the “little problem about Maan”) Geet, agrees, and then turns around to see Maan. Her face falls as she realises what she’s done. She mentions to the girls that Maan is there. Maan walks towards her as the girls introduce themselves as they walk out – Maan ignores them (arghh, sometimes dubbed voices are REALLY annoying).
Finally, it’s just Maan and Geet in the room alone. He asks her if she was looking for girls for him… she could have at least asked him what type of girl he wanted. He wants his girl perfect, whether it be a project file, or a bride… he wants her! (MaanEet moment… hey, I stopped typing that a lil’ while ago. Lol)
Geet finally snaps out of it, and wonders what Maan was trying to say. Maan, realising his mistake, quickly says he wants her to find the girl. Geet asks him to explain, while searching his eyes. Maan quickly turns back into his khadoos self, and says that Geet should treat this as an assignment. Geet looks at him, and Maan tells her that he’s tried to tell Dadi that he doesn’t want to get married, but with Dadi’s health, he’s not saying a thing. So he wants Geet to find a girl who will pose as his fiance… once Dadi gets better, he’ll pay the girl and send her off.
Geet is shocked, and fidgets with her dupatta, while Maan says that as his secretary, Geet should know him very well… when he gets angry, and when he doesn’t; if he’s Raavan or a villain; how mean, how rude he is… she knows all this, so she can find him a girl, and it has to be done by Friday. Maan hands Geet a notepad and tells to start writing the qualities he’s after. Geet refuses, and turns to walk away… Maan pulls her to him (fierce MaanEet moment).
Maan asks if she heard him… Geet pushes his hand away and says she won’t find him a girl, even if she has to leave her job, and runs from there. Maan stands there, with Geet’s words repeating in his head.
Geet update Monday 27 July 2020: Back in her room, Geet wonders to herself what Maan thinks of himself. Dadi asked Geet to do this, and she agreed… but Maan turned out to be 100 steps ahead of her… he wants a girl on a contract? How can he even talk like that in front of her?
Maan is walking, and wonders what Geet thinks of herself. Whatever he asks her to do, she always refuses… and makes threats of leaving. Her mouth says something, but her eyes tell a different story. He thinks back to some of their moments (sorry, but I cbb re-telling… they’re all eyelock ones anyway). Maan thinks that he hasn’t read Geet’s eyes wrong, and he’ll prove it.
Back in her room, Geet thinks that Maan said some really bad stuff…he wants a girl on contract – does she look like his aunty that he’ll list everything he wants in his princess; she’ll grab a light, and go looking for her? He needs a mental check-up. She’s not that seedhi-saadhi. (I know it means ‘good little girl’ but it’s such a cute saying.. it’s what everyone says about me. LOL)
Maan thinks that he won’t prove himself right in a straight way. He’ll go around and make her admit her own feelings..
Geet thinks that before Maan starts another problem, she’ll tell Dadi that she can’t do this anymore.
In their bedroom, Dev & NT are talking. Dev tries to explain to NT that they played with an innocent person’s life, which they shouldn’t have done (*shocked* Dev, you’re realising your mistake? Sach? You’re not so bad after all… I mean besides the fact that you got her pregnant and left her stranded at the airport… that’s what you get for staying wrapped in your biwi’s pallu). NT tells Dev that maybe they did, but at that time, they really needed the money. Dev tries to explain that they could have gone to Maan for money, before playing with someone’s life.
Geet update Monday 27 July 2020: Before NT can say anything, Dev diffuses the situation by saying that from today onwards, they’ll never mention Geet’s name – why bring an issue that will only affect them? Dev tells NT that she is the most important person in his life right now, and NT agrees to not mention Geet, but on one condition – Dev will focus on his work wholeheartedly. Dev smiles (*sigh* For an evil person, you have no right to smile like that), and then proceeds to ask NT why she married him. NT smiles and says that she married him because of his drop-dead gorgeous looks, and that sweet smile of his (yeah, I would have fallen for him too)… and then she found out how rich he was – what more could a girl want? (NT, you clown!)
Dev gets upset hearing that (I would too) and says that she married the wrong person, he hasn’t got a cent to his name. NT says that she married the right person, and that he’s not allowed to say a word.He hugs her, and NT thinks that at least she’s gotten him to stop thinking about her, and that now he’ll never know she was pregnant.
In Dadi’s room, Geet comes in and tries to tell Dadi about her decision. Dadi smiles at seeing her, and tell her to sit next to her. Geet sits down, and Dadi asks her if she talked to Maan. Geet says yes, and that she showed him the girls, but he said no. Dadi knows that he’d do it.. but she trusts Geet. She shows Geet jewelery that she had made for her daughter-in-law, and tells Geet to try it on. Dadi puts on a necklace, bangles, earrings and a bindiya… and says that it looks like the jewelery was made for her specifically. Geet wonders what Dadi’s doing but says nothing.
Dadi goes to look for the dupatta, and walks out… Geet sits there, and then Maan comes rushing in with Geet’s name on his lips, ready to complain when he sees her… extra-long MaanEet eyelock. (I’m not kidding btw, it lasted more than a minute. No joke.)
Geet update Monday 27 July 2020: Geet runs out… and starts walking down the hallway, as Dev makes his way from the other side. Geet stops at a pillar thinking of the eyelock, and Dadi’s words. She walks away, and Dev notices a red dupatta moving. He tries to reach her, but sees no one. He walks into Dadi’s room, and asks if anyone’s there. Dadi tells him to think about it. Dev realises that she’s setting Maan up… Dadi smiles, and says that she has liked her personally. She tells Dev to meet her, and smiles as Dev says “a good deed, and you’re asking?” and rushes out.
Again Geet is walking in a hallway, and Dev walks on the other side. Geet walks into a room, and shuts the door. Dev hears that, and walks to that door. He knocks, but she refuses to answer thinking it’s Maan. He continuously knocks, wondering why she’s not opening the door. He finally pushes open the door, and has a smile as he looks inside. The episode ends.
