In 2525, as humanity has colonized space, a gathering of recruits are preparing to battle against human insurrectionists. One of these recruits, Thomas Lasky, feels a little skeptical about his capacities as a trooper and his convictions for this conflict. While he battles with himself, the planet is attacked by an obscure extraterrestrial society. Reeling under the attack, Lasky and his crew mates are safeguarded by John-117, one of the UNSC’s amazing Straightforward II super-fighters. John should rouse Lasky to realize his true capacity as a trooper and a pioneer to battle against a foe deadlier than any that humankind has looked previously.
