It is Christmas time and the McAllister family is planning for a get-away in Paris, France. Yet, the most youthful in the family named Kevin got into a fight with his more seasoned sibling Buzz and was shipped off his room which is on the third floor of his home. Then, the following morning, while the remainder of the family was eager to come to the air terminal on time, they totally disregarded Kevin who presently has the house all to himself. Being home alone was a good time for Kevin, having a pizza all to himself, bouncing on his folks’ bed, and making a wreck. Then, Kevin finds two thieves, Harry and Marv, going to ransack his home on Christmas Eve. Kevin acts rapidly by wiring his own home with shoddy booby traps to stop the thieves and to deal with them.
