Set in a future Earth (2035 A.D.) where robots are normal partners and laborers for their human proprietors, this is the narrative of “robotophobic” Chicago Police Detective Del Spooner’s examination concerning the homicide of Dr. Alfred Lanning, who works at U.S. Mechanical technology, in which a robot, Sonny, has all the earmarks of being ensnared, despite the fact that that would mean the robot had disregarded the Three Laws of Robotics, which is obviously unthinkable. It appears to be incomprehensible in light of the fact that.. on the off chance that robots can violate those regulations, essentially nothing remains to be prevented them from assuming control over the world, as people have developed to turn out to be totally reliant upon their robots. Or then again perhaps… they as of now have? Supporting Spooner in his examination is a clinician, Dr. Susan Calvin, who represents considerable authority in the minds of robots.
